Minooka Summerfest 5k Race

Race Starts at 8:0am
Race day registration will be available from 6:45am to 7:45am and will be $40.00. Registration will be under the big tent at the corner of Wabena Ave. and Mondamin St.  Please pay by cash or check, payable to Minooka Lions Club.  Online registration is $35.00 plus online fee. Registrations after August 24th will be $40.00. Online registration closes September 1st. Free kids’ races (10 and under) immediately following the 5k.

13th Annual Bean Bag Tournament

11:00am to 3:00pm

Knights of Columbus Fundraising Bean Bag Tournament sponsored by Heartland Bank. Crossing Center parking lot, across RR tracks, south of the tent. Check in and final registration at 10am and limited to 32 teams.. Starts at 11:00am. Forms available at Village Hall and Heartland Bank.  $40.00 entry fee. Must be 18 and older or with written parental consent. 1st place $350  (minimum 12 teams), one cash prize for each four teams entered.  Call 815-260-5252 for more information.

Pork Chop Dinner

Serving from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, by 5-B’s Catering Service.
Purchase tickets at the gate: $12 tickets for Pork Chop (1 or 2), Chicken (1 or 2), or Combo (1 of each).  Carryouts available.

Lions Club Dance and Beer Garden

4:00pm to 11:30pm, featuring Arra, and serving MGD, Miller Lt, Coors Lt, Leinenkugel Honey Weiss, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
Admission to the dance is a Lions wristband. Wristbands will be sold Summerfest day and at the gate for $5.00, under 21 is $3.00.  Wristbands will be required for anyone staying in the beer garden after the Pork Chop Dinner.

Sealed with a Kiss - Performing at 7:00pm

Sealed With A Kiss is Chicagoland’s hottest cover band playing the biggest hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today - all the music that makes you want to dance and sing along! Start Summerfest weekend with a Friday night of great music and food.  Serving MGD, Miller Lt, Coors Lt, Leinenkugel Honey Weiss, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.  Beer garden opens at 7:00pm, WhiskeyFist starts at 7:00pm and Back Country Roads starts at 9:00pm.  Admission to the beer garden is a Lions wristband.
