Minooka Summerfest 5K RACE


Race day registration will be available from 6:45am to 7:45am and will be $30.00. Registration will be under the big tent at the corner of Wabena Ave. and Mondamin St.  Please pay by cash or check, payable to Minooka Lions Club.  Online registration is $25.00 plus online fee. Registrations after June 5th will be $30.00. Online registration closes June 13th. Free kids’ races (10 and under) immediately following the 5k. Kiddie Parade


Sponsored by Village Christian Church. Parade begins at Minooka Bible Church.  Registration from 9:00am to 9:30am. Judging at 9:45am. Parade steps off at 10:15am. Each child that participates will receive a goodie bag with items donated from local businesses and organizations.  PARADE INFORMATION HERE

10th Annual Bean Bag Tournament


Knights of Columbus Fundraising Bean Bag Tournament sponsored by Heartland Bank. Crossing Center parking lot, across RR tracks, south of the tent. Check in and final registration at 10am and limited to 32 teams.. Starts at 11:00am. Forms available at Village Hall, Heartland Bank and online at www.minooka.org and www.kofc12882.org.  $40.00 entry fee. Must be 18 and older or with written parental consent. 1st place $350  (minimum 12 teams), one cash prize for each four teams entered. Call 815-325-8409 for more information.   



pinewood derby races


NEW FOR 2017 - Pinewood Derby Races hosted by Cub Pack 464. Races  start at 11:00am to 3:30pm. Race entry/donation will be $2.00 for a  minimum 2 races per donation. Bring your own cars or use cars provided. There will be trophies and other prizes. See this page later for details - once available.

Serving from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, by 5-B’s Catering Service.
Purchase tickets at the gate: $10 tickets for Pork Chop (1 or 2), Chicken (1 or 2), or Combo (1 of each).  Carryouts available.

Bring your tabs! Pop Tab Pandemonium will benefit Chicagoland Ronald McDonald House. We will have locations to drop off your pop tabs around the Summerfest Grounds. Actual event is Saturday, September 16th at Lions Park.

Admission to the dance is a Lions wristband. Wristbands will be sold Summerfest day and at the gate for $5.00, under 12 is $3.00.  Wristbands will be required for anyone staying in the beer garden after the Pork Chop Dinner.

Minooka Teen Bean Bag Tournament

5:00pm - 10:30pm


For high school boys and girls age 13-15 and 16-18 (two flights). Mixed teams are ok. Bring school ID. Registration starts at 5:30pm, Bags fly at 6:00pm. Two person teams. Will try to match up singles. One game, winners advance. $5/teen, $10/team. Pizza and lemonade included in fee. Prize awarded to top team in each category
